Bhagat Mahasabha celebrates Kabir Jyanti

JAMMU, JUNE 26: The 612th Sant Kabir Jayanti Samaroh was organized today by Bhagat Mahasabha Jammu Unit at Parade Ground here with traditional fervor and gaiety.
The Dohas and Sakhian of Saint Kabir were recited by various speakers. Stress was laid on education of children of Megh Samaj in particular and Dalit Samaj in general.
It was also impressed upon educated class to familiarize their kids with preaching of Sant Kabir and make them aware of the Dohas of Saint Kabir and make it a habit of reciting them in their prayers in every morning and evening. The Bhagat Mahasabha Samaj demanded Gazetted holiday on this sacred occasion.
Ashu Koti, prominent singer of Punjab sang Bhajjans of Sant Kabir.
Dy. Chief Minister, Tara Chand was the Chief Guest. He advised the Samaj to follow the teaching of the Saint Kabir Ji.
